Flood Time Bass

Last week the local area had a heap of rain, 130mm one day than 300mm a day latter. All rivers in the area were flooded and many access areas were underwater or the road closed so you couldn't get to them. Over the last few years I have come across a patten after the rivers flood. Bass will school up in a small eddy (small like 2m round) than move up stream. Not the text book condition for Bass fishing with the Bar at 998 and a strong wind that was changing directions every 1/2 hour. But still this was one of the best surface feeding/action weeks Ive experienced. Below are some pics that show the condition of these fat fish. Lures were mixed up with all lures taking fish but the stand out was the Pimped Black Knight Walker with the buzz blade off the rear. This made ALOT of commotion.
