Truly Hand Crafted

All lures start here.

The timber prep

Raining Bass

Last night got out between the rain storms to catch some cracking Bass. Didn't leave home until 9pm and driving along thinking what am I doing. That all changed after the first cast.

After that a few smaller rats than another nice fish in the low 40s

A few more rats so time to move on.

While driving home, now well after midnight I stopped for a last cast thingy. Anyway while walking the lure just off the rod tip boooooooof a season PB smashes the lure at my feet. Hooked on a short leash this thing jump twice and powers of up stream. This was over come by some solid drag. With no net or a mate to help it was a go hard and grab tight.

So what a way to start Australia Day with catching a Beast of a East Coast Australian icon

Midnight BOOFS

With a cracker of a storm in the hills the Bass must be on the job. And yep they were. Took some time to find them but when we did they were good fish. All fish taken on the Nutterjuck Walker aka Huntsman.
