Something to keep your eye on

Heres a sneak peak at some new workings. As was seen in the RAW at its best post, the tweaked walker is ready.

Plus last season there was a sneak peak at the Nipple, well the Nipple has also had some tweaking and some testing will soon be done,

Keeps your eyes on here or Facebook to kept up to date.

Special Order

Well for me anyway,

The Guys at Shimano Australia have asked for some Bass Baits. Hope they enjoy them and fish them.

RAW at its best

Had a call from good mate Chris to see if I was in for a Bass fish. "yep, but ill have to be late. Ill put the kids to bed, give the wife a good bye kiss and ill meet you there"
A quick re rig only to find out that Ive got no lures ready. A few night before I lost 7 lures to the tree gods who now have a Christmas tree with Nutterjuck lures hanging from it.

So RAW it is. Cut, and screw, thats all I had time for. No paint and no glue, just RAW

This was a good chance to also test a new idea out. Assist hook (the one used for jigging) rigged surface walker. Well to cut a long story and theory short lets just say ITS A WINNER. Just need to tweak the lure as its funny how much the action changes without hooks and rings. Assist hooks have no weight in them.  Anyway watch this spot or our Facebook page to see how things progress.

Marbled Divers

Some Marbled divers that will be mixing it at Windamere NSW, the home of BIG Yellas

Body- 45mm
Overall- 80mm
Weight- 10g

The cave has been rumbling

Can only mean one thing. Yep more lures soon to be released

FAT PIG

Last night was the night of the Fat Pig. Good Mate Chris got detonated by a beast. This is the second time he has tied on a NJ Walker. This may shock some as we fish heaps together but we alway try and have a 'LURE OFF' thingy. Plus its good to see if the NJ's hold there only against some well know Baits. The first time Chris used a Walker ended in tears, for him anyway. He got dusted in a big way by a Bass that showed no love for him or his tackle.

Last night it took two cranks of the handle on his first cast to pull this FAT PIG

I was lucky to hold my own latter in the night but nothing compared to Chris's fish. These two also like the Walker.

Testing a new proto type

Been playing around with a diver design for the last few weeks (see above)
BUT this wakebait is a byproduct from the divers design.

1st cast was RRRRRRRRRRRR, not the action I was looking for. 3 cast latter this Pig jumped all over it. Sometimes what we think is a good/bad action is not what the Bass think. Still going to do some tweaking.

Nutterjuck first 50cm Bass

The other night the Facebook page stated that

'Nutterjuck rule'

This got my attention. A few hrs latter the pics told the story. Rob Barrett pinned the first trophy Bass on a Nutterjuck Wake Bait. In fact Rob only got his lures a few hours earlier and was out testing them to see what the action was like. 8 fish latter and a cracker on the last cast for the night. What a way to test a new lure.

Heres some pics, Thanks Rob for the feedback and pics.

50cm of pure South Coast Auss Bass

Marbled

Been playing around with some marbling of stick baits. Loving the look you get as its a lucky dip on what the finished product will be like. Gives the lure that unique/individual look.

First real fish for the season

It was not text book condition, 40km + wind, rain on the hills and a low pressure system that should of shut down the fish. The Black winged walker did the trick. Need to get back for some more

The last pic looks like Im hooked, well I am hooked. Hooked on topwater luring for Bass. SWEEEEEEEEEET

New Season new fish

This season has been tough on the local rivers. Many punters fishing but not many fish. Since the 1st Sept only a hand full of fish and hear some pics of the best.

Footballs

The other night we got out to do some testing of a new walker and to run the new tweaked walker. Both lures were the bomb on a new waterway. The Bass that we encountered were FOOTBALLS.

We hope to have the new lures ready for release latter this week. Keep your eyes out

Ally Bib Walker

Nutterjuck Walker baits will be moving to Ally Bibs, need a few more tweaks than they will be ready for release. The poly bibs will no longer be produced (hint, hint, collectors).

Anyway while out testing the new addition the local Bass jumped all over it.

Stay tuned for the Ally release

New weapon

Over the last month Ive been using a new outfit.
G-loom 5ft 4 IMX
Shimano Ci4 1000

This was meant to be a yak outfit but Im finding it as my new love, goes everywhere. Its would have to be one of the lightest (in weight) outfits going.

One word

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET

Old School Nutterjucks

Found these in the cave the other day. They must be about 15yrs old. I think Ill put them aside as collectors

Life after the BIG wet

The rivers are back to normal but the fields are full of little ponds. I was keen to see how my local spot held up after the flood. Last night a quick flick at the flood water hot spot showed no interest. Back in the car and time to check out jurassic park. The conditions were perfect, you know the nights that are so dark but the water glows and you can see everything thats going on. Jurassic park must of had A LOT of water moving around when the flood came as the amount of damage was insane. Even two weeks after the big wet there was sooooooo much water that even with waders on I couldn't get past the reeds. This left only two fishable spots which I peppered for about 2hrs. By the end the stats were 12-5-2 landed. The two landed were FAT and went hard. The 3 I lost were all to pulled hooks I need to re group after last night and the other week.

Some pics, Plus the white walker is becoming a new goto lure of late. I think its because the old eyes can see this thing even on the darkest of nights.
